Steph and I planned carefully for the solar eclipse of August 21, 2017. We looked along the path of totality for a spot that we could reach with a reasonable amount of travel, booked a place to stay through AirBNB, and invited family members to join us. We looked forward to enjoying a celestial spectacle with people we love.
But with all of this company, were we going to have a chance to do any spanking? It didn’t look promising.
Then, on August 20, the day before the eclipse, all of the various family members left the house, one group at a time, to check out the local eclipse-themed festivities. Steph and I were alone. We had no idea when the rest would return. But there was—however briefly—a spanking opportunity.
I opened my suitcase, dug out a ping pong paddle, and instructed Steph, fully dressed, to get over the back of the couch. As I stood over her, I could see through the living room window into the street, so if anyone returned we’d have a 30-second warning. I turned on the sound recorder.
Not every spanking is long … but this is the shortest one I’ve ever recorded, at 2 minutes and 16 whacks. The sound file speaks for itself.
